JL 1000/1 (Want a bass knob switch near the driver seat)

My brother has a amp that has a knob where you can adjust the bass to turn down to nothing, or full. My deck is running at -6 bass and its got 2 12" JL w6v2s with a JL/1000 amp and my components are running a Memphis amp. Is there any hook up I can use to adjust bass without going threw the deck like my brother has? Thanks
