i just got two 15in atomic apocalypse in dual 1 ohm voice coils and im running them with a massive audio 3000.1 right now at a 2 ohm load. yesterday i switched each sub to a 1/2 ohm load and pumped it for a good hour before cycling down. and all i can say is DAMN!! supposedly the amp can handle 2 ohm loads-but not 1/2. amp didnt protect-it barely broke a sweat!! so my question is-How long can i get away with this before i damage the amps board?
