Top plates and pole pieces

Aluminum, steel? I was looking into getting some forged and having custom made magnets.

I think what you are attempting is something I might like to try but I can't find any informational site's on it besides the few pics on GlassWolf's site. How did you / where do you get all the supply's? And is there a good book/site you could recomend to learn more about this topic? I hope that baby pounds!! This is one of the cooler ideas "IMO" I have heard lately (Building you'r own sub).
