Precautions!!!

Hello Buddies,
After getting an amp for my type R I am planning to install them meyself. I want to know that precautiions should be taken into avccount before and after installing the amp and subs so the both wont get blown?
Your suggestions will be appreciated.

make sure there is no paint for the ground to hit, make sure your + and - match up. don't let your power touch yoru ground. make sure your amp wont send a clipped signal to your subs. make sure the box meets spects, if it doesn't make sure you know what yoru doing first

Make sure u disconnect ur neg from ur battery b4 any installation.

MAKE SURE U RUN THE POWER WIRE THRU THE FIREWALL ON THE PART WERE THERE IS A BLACK RUBBER...DONT LET THE BARE POWER WIRE MAKE NE CONTACT WITH TH ECARS CHASSI.....ALSO EVERYTHING SHAINE SED...AND MAKE SURE TO SEAL UR BOX...AND JUMP UP AND DOWN WEN ITS FINISHED CUZ U JUST INSTALLED UR FIRST SYSTEM :-O

how to check whether is amp sending the clipped signals to subs?
do the box specs disturb the working of the subs and can it lead them to blow?

oh i took it from ur dictionary annd used it in a sntence so u should be proud of me.clipped signals are wen the amplifier keeps up with the demand and trys to draw current thts not there so instead of a smooth flow of current u have pieces missing and this can be hazardous to ur subs......boxes:
ported-
tuned high(35-45)=loud
tunned low(28-35)=sq and deep bass
sealed-sound quality
TJ want sum crack:-O

just dont set your gains to high otherwise it will send out clipped signal. set them to the voltage of your HU pre outs.

yeah and cut the speker wires with a knife or something cause last time i used my mouth and got a big shock lol
