Chauncey, I have two 10's ported at 35HZ in a 2.4 cuft box. They really do sound great. I was planning on getting the 12's but due to limited space I got the 10's. Even the 10's get low and loud. I had two 12" IDQ's before to compare them to. The arsenals blow them away in SQL. I was pleasently surprised. I can only imagine what the 12's sound like. Thats all I can say.
my 15 is in a 4 cu ft (after displacement) slot ported tuned to ~27-28 hz. it has awesome sq and got louder than 4 12" rockford p2's, sealed, and 2 12" cvr's on anything below 45hz.
I'm using the ED Nine.1. My electrical system is still stock so I am not getting the full potential out of the amp and subs. HO alt is my next step. I imagine that the alt and battery will increase my SQL. Still amazed at the subs.
Lookin to build my box next week for 2 15's. Would you recomend ported or sealed? AA says sealed but from what you are saying I gather the port doesn't throw off the SQ too much, correct?
lol still not in, my friend that said he'd do it, has been real busy but i got my box done its about 2.5 cu.ft( alittle less) sealed. but im running in either today or tommorrow to get the amp kit ( woulda got yesterday but they close at 7:00 and i came at 7:08 lol ) but its should be in within the next week, cuz schools out so i got lotsa time on my hands
