I have a few quesions ive just alwayz wanted to ask about ported enclosures but have been lazy to ask them. Does it matter how u make ur enclsure? Say u can make it 2cuft of inner airspace but u can shape it however u want, whats the best way to shape one, for example:either 21"W 16"H 14.75"D or 18"W 18"H 14.5"D, which would be a better way to make an enclosure if they both have the same airspace??
Or is it better to use a rectangle vent or a round pvc port? Does it matter where u put the port?? Does it matter if u dont glue the box together and u just screw it and caulk it??
no it dosent matter where the port it put.. round ports(especially flared) reduce port noise better than rectangle...i also heard that round port can be louder but im not sure dosent matter if u carpet ur box... u can just screw and caulk it but i would deff glue it though... i dont think it matters the shape of the enclosrue really
