I am needing help adding a powered sub to my current system.
Current setup:
Headunit: Sony CDX-F5505X. It has Front out and Rear/Sub Out (both RCA)
Amp: Kenwood KAC-646X (4 channel). It has line level input, Line A in, Line B in, and Line A+B out.
Speakers: 4 Sony Explode 4 way (2 front, 2 rear) both 6.5 inch.

I currently have it hooked up with the RCA Front out from headunit to Line A in on amp, RCA Rear/Sub out from headunit to Line B in on amp, speakers individually hooked to other side of amp to 8 posts.

I want to add a powered sub but not sure of how to hook it all up. I MUST keep fader control as this is in a boat and the front needs to be turned down relative to the rear.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

ok pretty confising or maybe its because im stoned. but if your HU only has 2 pre outs fornt and rear your amp now might have a line out in that case you could jsut attatch a rca cord form that amp to your new amp. if not then just buy spliters for your rcas and split the rear channel for both amps....
