IF THT AMP IS 1 CHANNEL I DONT THINK U CAN BRIDGE IT.....BUT U CAN WIRE THE SUB TO 2 OHMS IF U HAVE A DUAL 4 OHM VC SUB....

that amp is a monoblock amp, u cant bridge it! u can wire it down to 1ohm or its lowest ohm load, to get max power... that will be the only way to get MAX power from the amplifer... If u want more power from it, get a BIGGer amplifier!

1200rms - KICKER (2400watts) = TRUE power

VS

800rms or LESS - POWER ACOUTIC (1600watt) = LIES, FAKE power

YES the KICKER will be ALOT louder!

The birth sheet for my kx600.1(2004 model) said 715 watts rms @ 13.8. Maybe they switched over to 14.4?

Well even if they were rated at 14.4 instead of 13.8, that is only a 5 % difference in voltage. If the amp benches around 1450 @ 14.4 then it should bench around 1325-1350 @ 13.8. But with that size of an amp on a stock electrical system I'm sure his voltage rails will sag. I ran a 1200.1(two 600.1's same thing.) off my stock alt(120amps) and it worked fine but my voltage still droped to around 12.9 when the bass hit.

1200.1 puts out around ~1350 @ 14.4volts its something like ~1100 @ 12.5 volts.

usually going from 12.5 to 14.4 there is around a 15% to 20% increase. that doesnt mean every amp gains that much but its a pretty fair guess.

I've seen 1200.1 's with birth sheets around 1400+ watts. Most put out around 1380-1450. So i would say 1300-1350 @ 13.8,1100-1150 @ 12.5.

Not all but most. An amp from a good company that is underated will generally put out its rated power at around 13+ volts. Like that 1200.1. I think it is rated at 14.4 volts. It will put out 1400+ at 14.4 volts. but at 13.5 it will still put out a little more then its rated power. Most amps wont work well under 11 volts. Same amps can work with as high as 16 volts.

16V ISNT THT WAY TO HIGH...THT KIND OF VOLT WOULD DESTROY UR CARS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM...CORRECT?

still all NEW amps are going to be rated @ 14.4v....
thats the new rule of measurement, but some amps will do their rated power at 13v easy....
