they are good amps, but u would be overpowering ur subs by alot. for 2 w6's get a jl 1000/1. the rms on each sub i beleive is 500. so 500 x 2 subs = 1000 watts rms. 2000 is doubling the max rms which is not good. at the most i would get a 1200 watts amp
all toghether its 800 rms continouis...for the 2 10's it says 400rms each.....so that big of an amp aint the best idea......if u had all that stuff your car ditch the capacitor, and buy an ho alt....so u can runn all that stuff at 1 time...and not burn up everything...yes and for 2 w6's a jl 1000 would be perfect...and a 300/4 or 450/4...u would have a full jl system....the install would be nice
I just saw the MTX T9500 12' subs, do you think i should go with 2 MTX T9512, 2 JL W6v2, or 2 W7's? Which ever i go with will be 12 inch, i listen to alot of hip hop, rap, r&b, some rock, reggie, etc. My only quark with the W7's is ive heard it tends to skip notes, y dad has 2 w3's 12' in the trunk with a zapco amp for the subs n rockford fosgate amp for the jl channel speakers and its one of the best systems ive heard, thats y im highly considering JL Audio.
