use a 16 awg wire or any and jump the power from the amp to the remote on the amp. it should turn the amp on.

you can get an inline switch

take the wire from the positive on the power supply and put it on the remote on the amp

then get one of those inline switches that you open up and place the wire inside.. just snap it shut real good and it has blades inside that cut the wire for you

then just rotate the knob to turn it on and off

or just hook the remote wire up directly from the positive on the power supply and turn off the power supply whenever your not using the amp

or unplug the power supply when not in use

or go to radio shack and buy a circuit board to make a switch that turns on whenever music is present

you would have to splice into an rca wire for that to work

you cant cut a lamp cord off a lamp and hook it up to the amp with the plug still on it just to plug it in the wall

that would give the amp 120 volts instead of 12 volts

i dont think that would even give a good spark spectacular

everything would melt inside.. or the power transformer will get really brown

if you wanna destroy it.. use less volts

makes the destroying process last longer
