what does all that mean.. everyone is saying a certain thing will get louder... well sql and sp and spl and all that is like latin to me can anyone plz explain

SQ+SPL=SQL

SQ = Sound Quality

SPL= Sound Pressure Level (I Think)

IT MEANS what CTMIKE said!!

SQ = SOUNDS GREAT TO THE EAR - Deep, clear, responsive....

SPL = SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL - (PURE Loudness, little or NO SQ (sound quality) - JUST UNGODLY LOUD! - TUNED higher...

SQL = SOUNDS GOOD to the ear, and still gets loud like a SPL system...
