How do I install 2 amps with 1 cap...

the ground should be bolted onto the chassi of the vehicle...make sure to scrape off all the paint were u are bolting the ground to for a good connection

idk what happens when you do this but my friend went and put his ground on the negative part of the battery is that a smart thing to be doing?

ground is ground, unless u have a floating ground or a Negative Ground...

grounding at the negative part of the battery is the same point as grounding to the chassis of the car...
