icix, they are good for the budget but lack the strong low end. They have a high extension which makes them easy to blend into almost any frontstage whether a weak or strong one. They are very responsive but do struggle with heavy low end bass. The RL-p from soundsplinter has very similar high end extension and SQ characteristics of the Ov.2's but has a better low end and the price is comparable. I used to have both the flatcone O's and the Ov.2's. I liked them but my 12 Mag sealed on 1200rms outdid my 16Ov.2 ported on 600rms.
