The Guide on this website says to make the front board of your enclosure twice as thick. Nesesary? any disadvantages? should i do it? sealed 2 10'' Arsenals in a joint box
its mainly to help support weight. it can reduce flex too, but not really going to matter unless you get some extremely high excursion subs. can't hurt though.
