I have a 560XV installed in my 1990 Mustang Convertible. After sitting in the garage all winter, I reconnected the battery and the alarm seemed to work fine. Now it seems to be stuck in active alarm and I cannot disable it. I was fine with this feature when I purchased the alarm. However, now the doors lock after the car is off 30 seconds and it automatically alarms. This even happens if the keys are in the ignition when it is in my driveway.
Is there any way to adjust or disable this so I can just arm it myself?

Download the install manual from DEI. You can easily reprogram the Viper for 'active arming'. All it takes is opening driver door, key in IGnition position, push Valet switch and push some buttons on the remote.
