2 days ago, i play my CD and the volume of the subwoofer is so low all of a sudden. I didnt touch teh amp at all, the volume is normally what i put on. all the setting are what they are on usually. why did the sub volume go down all of a sudden? please guys help me out on this one. this sub has been with me for a while but i just the sound on this one.
check the resistance loads on the subs...if there is a flucuation(sp) in the numbers or it won't hold a constant number than the VC may be fried. that can happen after a while. I had a guy come into the store a few days ago and when we tested the sub out one sub read an constant 8 ohm resistance while the other get going from 5 to 13.
did u check the volume levels on your cd deck? maybe the bass on the deck is turned low check that. Also check all your gains on your amp make sure one isnt turned down freq should be at 100 hz any below and sub will sound quiet.
