SHould i make a sealed box witch is alot easyer to make or a ported enclosure and i know how to make the box the right cu ft for the sub but i dont where to put the ports in the box how long to have the port and how big around to have the port, is it true if you dont have the port in the right place and the right size it will sound like crap?

if ur a newbie & not confident then build a sealed box .

U can also do a PIPE ported box which is VERY simple too & takes up less spcae than a SLOT ported box
