well i called treo today and they said about 1.5 cuft tuned to 35hz. which was close to what i was going to do (1.7 35hz). he told me 1 4 inch flared port isnt enough port area but i told him i apreciate your concern but i think 1 4 inch flared port will be enough to have no port noise. he said he would do slot (which i still may do idk). and not to use fiberglass (but when i use fiberglass, its VERY strong...although i was planning to use mdf anyway) so just to let you guys know, 1.5 35 hz for a 10ssi for SQL.
Yeah, but i prefer sealed. He likes it louder im sure but i prefer sealed in most cases in a car. Sound is very subjective, so chad obvously prefers it ported. I just like the sound of sealed and this sub plots really well sealed so thats what im going to do if i get this.
