i have 2 kicker L7's 12" each hooked up to there own punch 800 and the deck i had was an alpine cda-7893 and now i just put in and alpine cda -9856 but when i turn up the volume now the bass sounds like its hitting hard but then dies out a little then it will hit hard again and die out again. anyone know what could cause this to happen????
this is what i did on my system.....try reversing the sub polarity.....my Alpine CDA-7897 can do that....but that doesnt semm like thats ur problem....whuts the pre out voltage on the new h/u...u might have 2 readjust the amps to match that hu....an posibly other settings....remeber thats what gives ur amps a signal...so its prolly just settings u would have to change...on the hu...
