Having just bought the sony Xplod 3 way XSV6930 speakers because they were on clearance at CC a few weeks ago... I am not very happy with the sound they put out and of course had I checked this forum I would of known that they are not the most best.
They sound too thumpy and echoy... even though I tried to tweak the amp on the HU.
I should of grabbed the 3 way Pioneers but went for these since they were only 50.00 bucks!
So I am thinking of getting better 3way 6x9 something with a smooth bass that can be subtle yet awesome if I really crank it up...
Any midprice suggestions??? something in the 100.00 dollar price range.
I am just looking for something decent not looking to get an amp or subwoofer etc...

im not sure which model they are but i used to have some sony 6x9s but they were from the specialty series and in my opinion werent bad speakers at all, but that is when i was running them off an amp.
get an amp befor you get new speakers becasue it will make a big difference, even for any 6x9 it will sound alot better with an amp
the audiobahn a6004t is a good 4 channel amp for 125 online
