Cvx or l7

im lookin at putting 1 12 and my budget is about 225 so i was thinkin about a cvx or a l7. wich would be better? or is there somthin way better i could get in that price range?

out of those two i'd go with the cvx. loud as the l7 but a little better sq.

but what kind of set up you looking for?

another thing is id like to run an mb quart amp that pushes 1000w rms so i dont want a sud thats much over that

the cvx will take that power if you want kicker.

slightly louder because of more surface area, but you will get a lot worse sq and i hear they are prone to breaking.

ok would the mb quart be too much power for the cvx?? its 1000Wrms

watch the gains on it and you should be good.

a dealer near me was actually installing a pair of cvx's the other day. first install for that store with the cvx and i believe he said they were running close to 1000wrms to each. sounded pretty good for kickers.
