hey, i wanted to know if anyone out here has experienced Rainbow speakers. they range from $100 to $2000. I was wondering if any of their lower end Compo sets (around $300) sounds good as compared to other brands in that range. Also if they have good midbass response.

thanks all for ur inputs.

I think i'm th eonly one on here with Rainbows, although Jonathan has experience with them. I have a set of the Profi Vanadium 3 ways. they run around $900-1200 depending on where you get them from. 6 inch woofers in stock doors, 4 inch midrange and 1 inch tweeters in kick panels. i've gotta say, they are the best speakers i've ever heard!! just got them in and haven't done any tweaking yet.

midbass is great. you really feel it in your chest and it rolls off nicely. doesn't sound like anything lacking even with no subs hooked up in my car yet.
midrance is very natural and clear.
tweeters are very detailed yet not harsh at all.
over all sound stage feels very high and wide, even with the speakers mounted in kick panels.
haven't found a flaw yet.

send me a message if you want some more info on getting ahold of some rainbows.
