When I crank my HU, I start to get distortion and some clipping out of my door speakers. My sub doesn't seem to have a problem handling it, though. According to my HU and my door speaker's specs, that's far from the max that they can handle. Is the problem with my deck, a Pioneer DEH-1800, or with my speakers, 4 Pioneer TS-G6840Rs?

Here's my HU and speaker specs:

Pioneer DEH-1800:
Built-in Speaker Power MOSFET 50W x 4
Continuous Power Output 22W x 4

Pioneer TS-G6840Rs:
Watts MAX. Music Power 150W
Watts Nominal Power Handling 30W

I forgot to mention, my truck has a factory amp, which I don't know the stats of.

i would suggest you to get rid of the factory amp because it might be getting in the way because my friend had the same problem, and also check you wiring settings

Is there anywhere I can get information on my factory amp? I think I've figured out where it is, but I'm not going to go splicing wires together to bypass it without knowing for sure.
