My father has purchased a clk500, and we want to take out the cheap bose speakers that come in it, and put in JL Audio XR570-CSi-front speakers w/ tweeters JL Audio XR570-CXi- back fill ins. Are these a good chioce? Also, where can we take them to be custom installed into the doors and back seats because the bose speakers are a like a triangle shape so everything has to be re cut
i did an install in a 2005 clk 320 with XR650s. what a pain in the azz. i had to make 1.5 inch baffles for the speakers. the wiring was a pain and just the whole car was a pain lol. we just did a comp set in the front, thats all thats needed. in such a small car you dont need rear speakers. sounds really good though.
