i was reading another thread about htis amp and i dont quit understnad wnat a SSF is. why is it locked at 24/25 on the kicker. what does this mean? i was looking at it to push a 15" TI. thanks.

SSF means Sub SOnic Filter. its basically a HPF, High Pass Filter, that cuts out the lower frequencies.

very important for ported boxes. not as much for sealed. for ported boxes, you want it to be tuned to the frequency the box is tuned to. if you play frequencies lower then what the box is tuned to, you can over extend the sub and blow it.

if it says its locked, that means its not adjustable. which kinda sucks.

You don't necasarily have to set it to the tuning of the box. But within 5 hertz.
