ok i went to this audio store by my house right (audio express) and was looking to listen to the boston z series and some type x and others and wheni went in and told him what i wanted to do all he was saying is thatthey dont have the x's and that the r's would kill the z's in sq and spl
i doubt anything alpine will be able to compete with boston
granted the are on level playing fields not familiar with Boston z's thogh but i hate when them guys tell u what is the best....they no nothing an just work for a paycheck...
