hi,how did you get aftermarket radio into the accord stock.. (you know the stock has climate control built into it. and where did the big knob go that's in the middle of the climate control)

but i can use output converters to add amplifiers to my stock radio right? Cuz i really don't wanna get rid of the climate control and the shape of the whole dash.. u know..?
so again... if i install output converters to my stock; will i be able to install amplifiers and have a blasting sound system?

you can buy one of those oem interface. it is suppose to take the signals of the stock radio and convert it to a stronger signal. jl audio has a nice oem interface.

go to www.jlaudio.com and check it out. its kinda expensive though.

btw joe does yours have navi too? i just had the 6 indash disc changer and the climate control.

i don't have the car yet.. but soon i will have it. not planning to have navigations.. unless there is a advantage of navigation to my audio system..

Chad is referring to the JL audio cleansweep, which is around $400 from an authorized dealer. You better have a stock navigation system if you are gonna spend 400 to not change your stock head unit...

$400 get's you a pretty damn nice HU...

i know what u r trying to say but the stock radio of the new honda accord does not accept the aftermarket radio...
*** wouldn't the PAC OEM-2 will do the same thing as the JL cleansweep?? what's the difference

looks similar, but you can't expect it to work half as good as the JL.....$24 compared to $400

casey, i got my hu from www.crutchfield.com...i got the D300 when it was going out of stock...got one of the last hundred they had...anyways, it was very cheap at only $850 and it is a great unit...i really love it...and yah thats 101.1 the beat jamz lol...i messed with one of those D310s in a Tweeter store one time and they seemed to really suck...very flimsy...didnt mess around with the controls much but it seemed very cheap...i didnt really like it...i dont know where you can get a D300 anymore but i know they are a great unit...you would be very pleased
