Bronze Member Username: Usask8er1Appleton, Wisconsin USA Post Number: 91 Registered: Jun-05 | Yea i figrued that out fast lewass, my original box was ported and then had this one built sealed and relized it was so much louder ported. The sealed didnt sound half bad though to be honest with you sq was alot better. Since then i had the box taken out and had a port put in, I believe they are called aeroports or something like that, the metal cylinder ones. It sounded alot better. Within a week i blew the sub due to some stupid stuff and replaced it with a h2 and man does that amp make those subs pound. The nice thing is the orion amps are all underated. I guess they rate them at like 12.8 volts where as most companys rate there amps at 13.4. Also Ive heard of people wiring them down to half ohm and being stable. |

No need 2 worry about it NOT being a genuine Orion CAUSE ITS FOR REAL ! All WCC did was put a decently done aluminium emblem which is stuck on by double sided tape over d orion engraving & put their own weird looking endcaps on it - ITS THE SAME ORION , PPL !. My amp was in a cold a/c area when i got mine so the WCC emblem just released itself from the amp's surface die 2 the coldness apparently so i didnt even have 2 pull it off . Will take some pics of it when my bro comes by with his digital camera ..... |
