I need help with wiring amp

I have 2 rockford fosgate p3001 amplifiers and i have to rockford fosgate p2 15's the subwoofers are 4ohm and the amp it 300x1 at 2 ohms or 175rmsx1 can i run a single sub on the amp with a 2ohm load? even tho the subwoofer is 4ohom meaning one subwoofer to each amp ?

if the subs are single voice coil, then your either looking at hooking one amp per sub for the 175 watts at 4 ohms or hooking both subs in parallel to one amp for 300 watts at 2 ohms (which is 150 watts per sub now).

well thats no good so i would have 2 have 2 p3002 amps to be able to do that one amp per sub i guess i bought the wrongs amps these subs are 250rms what rockford amp do you think would power them the best you think a p6001 would be too much ?

not if you wire it to 4 ohms. 300 watts for that sub would be good

The amp i have is only 175x1 at 4ohms 300rms at 2 ohm its a mono one channel amp so if i hooked it up at four ohms id only be getting 175rms out of the amp compared to the 150rms persub at 2ohms right?
