I currently have the Eclipse cd8454, but was wondering if trading it for the Alpine cda-7998 would be a step down. I basically want the alpine because of the phantom face, but dont want to lose sound quality. Tuning capabilities are important but since I only use the normal mode on the eclipse would there be a difference. Any opinions good/bad would be helpful. Thanks.
