OK. I know that I have asked this question before and so has a lot of other people. I just got my subs and I need to know how to wire them. Setup: 2 12" SPL JWS(same as JL Audio W6 V1s) DVC 6 ohm 350w RMS 850w max. 1 JL Audio 500/1. I would like to get the most power out of the amp as possible. Thanks.

I believe that you can wire them to 1.5ohms if you wire them in series.

that amp is perfect for those subs. Wire them parellell/parr to a 1.5 ohm load http://mobile.jlaudio.com/support_pages.php?page_id=161 I ran 3- 10w6v1's off of a ppi a600 with 600 watts at 4 ohms and they slammed.

james, i thought the 500/1 would give 500wrms at any load, 1.5-4ohms. wouldn't that give each sub only 250wrms, which would be underpowering them?

those subs are very efficient and will get loud with as little as 150 watts and sound good doing it. Also that amp is underrated a tad and will put out close to 600 watts.
