what gauge wire should i use on a 150watt (RMS)----300 peak subwoofer?

somone told me 12???

are you talking power wire cause if you are then I would go with 4

But if you are talking aboutt he actaully wiring of the sub I would just go with 10 something liek that even though thats almost nothing wattage wise but it will still help the current flow better but you could use 12

150rms 300max...you would be safe with 8 gauge power wire as 8 gauge is safe up to 540watts and you would need a 50a fuse near the battery....4 gauge would be overkill, UNLESS, you plan to upgrade the amp later one to somthing more powerfull...as 4 gauge is made for much more powerful amps and is great for up to 1360 watts of power....and are more pricey of a wire

Also if you mean wire to the subs...10-12awg would be fine

ya i know that 8 would be fine for it i was only saying that for upgrades later caus ei dont think anyone can stick with 150 rms for long if you know what i mean
