I am looking to buy 2 S12L7s, are these good subs i am looking for a deep sound and loud but i am not aspiring to go into competitions. Are these quality and wont destroy my ears?

well the purpose of them is to get loud so yeah they can destroy your ears.. arent the best sounding subwoofer by any means because of the design and there known to prematurely fail, although most of the time it being the user's fault.. you might wanna look into something else there are alot of subs out there that will get loud and have some good sound quality to them ..
whats your budget

no but i was looking on spoendin 3-400 on the amp, i was going to buy the amp to fit the subs

ic.. http://www.soundsplinter.com/high_end_subwoofers.html Rl-p woofers are fairly priced IMO 2 of the 12's would fit your budget.. but u will need at least a 1000 watt amp to power them and that my involve upgrading your vehicles electrical system.. would u consider a single higher end subwoofer? one RL-p 15" would get pretty loud and deep. and u wouldnt have to get as big of an amplifier..or 2 Image Dynamic idq's http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2034

and something like a mtx 1501d or rockford fosgate X7 or old school 1500bd off ebay. the 15 eclipse NEEDS 1500 watts RMS!

would you go with the 1 15 or 2 12s, i am also trying ot stay away from redoing the electrical stystem, i have a connection with the w s12V7s so i can get them cheaper, you seem to know a lot what amp should i get w/in my budget? (2 ohms on the subs)

well the Rl-p will have more defined low end for sure which is something i might want.. so 400 for an amp.. would u want to buy ebay?

ya im going to buy ebay, even though that amp is 4 ohms will that be ok with 2 ohms subs or will that have some contrasting power issue?

nope wire a dvc 2 ohm sub in series for a 4 ohm load
