kicker kx1200.1
orion 1200d
re 12.1

make sure you get the dual 2ohm version of the sub though. also if you get the 12" you can put it in 2 cuft ported tuned to 30hz and if you get the 15" then you can do a 2.5cuft ported to 30hz

i guess you can go with some audiobahn or hifonics amp. you can get those for much cheaper than the ones i mentioned above. also yes they can take that much power and more. i have 2 jl 1000/1 hooked up to 2 ssi 12s and those subs want more. lol.

i listen to mainly rammstein, metallica, and some other rock groups and my ssi's sound awesome. i also like to listen to trance, breakbeat, and some rap. they all sound good.

the SSi has better sq and can get loud. but with the same power the TSx can get just as loud if not louder, however the sq isnt quite as good. both are great subs. the SSi can take on any sub in a sealed box sq wise.

Well, if you really want the sub to hit hard you might want to look into getting a ported box. That will increase the decibals significantly, and any kind of treo that you get that is as high powered as the SSi then the amp is gonna cost you... I have three TSX's and they hit hard.

It depends on how loud you want it.

the ssi has better sq ported than sealed. i know its kinda hard to believe but that is how it is to me. i had them sealed at first and they sounded awesome but when i went ported, the subs came alive. you have to tune it low though.

Dont compare it to are arsenal.. PLEASE :-)
Im tired of people comparing the SSI to all these other subs that are not even halfway as good...

The Fs on my 15 is 18.364Hz :-) It gets LOW!
The SQ on a TSX is amazin!!! SO just imagine the SSI PURE SQ...
