I recently hooked up my 15 inch pioneer, and after listening it to a bit i'm findin that the bass seems to be a little echoey and not very punchy. As i'm not really a pro in the acoustics i'm not sure which range of frequencies it seems to be lacking.
I think it may have something to do with the box size being too large. Or maybe the positioning in the boot.
Is it beter to place the box as far back in the boot? or what? any suggestions guys.
what would be the best and cheapest way to remedy these problems.
underpowered or incorrect box tuning is possible cause i noticed pio subs dont play well @ all with low freq tuning , they like around 40hz. Too high of a tuning will sound boomy .
Usually best way 2 face ur box is 2 d tailgate/backwards .....
