What amp should I get in the $250-350 range to push 2 kicker l512" 's to their limit..? Should I go with 2 amps.. or just 1?

Could I put these 2 subs together? http://imezak.com/s12l5.html and this which I already have.. http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/145841/originURLEncoded/http%253A%252F%252Fw ww.circuitcity.com%252Fccd%252Fcategorylist.do%253Fcmpstr%253D%2526bMore%253D%25 26N%253D20013088%252B20015481%252B40794641%2526No%253D20%2526catOid%253D-15481%2 526link%253Dref%2526PAGE_ACTION%253D%2526c%253D1/rpem/ccd/productDetailSpecifica tion.do#tabs

The only difference I see is that one is 1200 watt peak and the other is 1500.. How would is sound if I put these 2 in a box together? And what amp would be good to push these?

dont look at 'peak' watts...look at RMS.

they are very different subs, the TS parameters are different. if you are going to run two subs, its best to use two identical subs.

as for an amp...that sub you have is DVC 2ohm, so if you get a pair and want to run them at rated RMS wattage...you will want an amp that puts out 1500wrms at 2ohm.

for two DVC 2ohm L7 15's...these would be good matches:

Rockford Fosgate 1500bd (or 1501bd)
Kicker zx1500.1 (or zx1000.1, these amps are under rated...the 1500.1 benches at ~1700-1800wrms)

what about just the circuit city one? I have a 400 watt mtx.. but the sub cuts out at high lvls.. I was something to push it harder.. what would you recommend?
