Right now I have a sealed box with just about the same dimensions. I have 2 12" type R and a Mb Quart Raa1000. It pounds right now but do you think this would get it louder with a ported box? and is 35 hertz about right? Gold Member Username: SouthernrebelMonroe, Louisiana USA Post Number: 2675 Registered: Mar-04 | if you are doing a vented box in a single cab truck...try subs firing into your back w/ port low on the box firing into the passenger side wall (at least 3" away from the wall). if you cant get it to work right like that...try a port in the center firing up. |

Post Number: 7150 Registered: Jul-05 | i'm not box expert but i'm currently using that same prog 2 figure out a box 4 my needs some of ur nos r still off - its >>>>> xmax = 18.2mm sub displacement = 0.071 cuft net internal volume = 1.3cuft how did u pick 31.06hz as the freq ? - thats odd that lenght sounds really long - im guessing thats how wide inside ur truck is !? ..... |
