I have (2) Audiobahn Eternals and a Rockford fosgate amp- t10001bd. I know that the Eternals are made specificaly for SPL so i was going to make my own box (ported most likely) but if i should go sealed tell me other wise. Ne ways i was thinking i would compensate my mega SPL with my box to get the SQ i wanted. Anyone have any advice on how to get the most SQ out of my box?
the only way to get good sq out of your box is to put different subs in it.
but if you want to keep using the audiocrap subs i would suggest sealed only because it wont be as loud as ported so it probably wont sound as bad. but if you can i would get another pair of subs.
Audiobahn subs have very little linear x-max in direct comparison to the amount of wattage they can(theoretically) handle. The only good setup for those subs is in a pure spl setup with a box tuned to the cars resonance frequency.
