Likes and dislikes... I just bought the Polk cause they sounded cleaner at high levels compared to the others, This may be somewhat biased cause I am not sure if the other speakers were blown or not.. The Kickers and the MTX both sounded Muddy.... Eclispe were OK but again were not as clean, high sounding as the Polks. Any body have opionions on these??? Thanks.
i would choose Polk out of thoes brands as well. but i wouldn't get 6x9's. round speakers generally sound better then oval, and you can easily fit a set of 6.5's or 5.25's in thoes holes. components fit nicely in a 6x9 hole too.
sound is subjective though, so choose what you think sounds best.
