i need some opinions about what subs to get...i want an sq system...i was thinknig about 3 infinity kappa 10.1's...and ideas?

OK, what's your budget? Do you want 3 10 inch subs?? or would you consider 12 or 15 inch subs? If only ten inch, then why. If 12 or 15, then how many? And does your budget include subs only, or subs, amp and box?

i want 10's b/c i listen to alot of faster music...and i am looking @ about $600 subs amp and box...new used doesn't matter

i guess i could go with 2 12's if i must but i would prefer 10's...i have a 96 monte and the trunk is pretty big im not really worring about size

i have 2 bran new 10" re se's if your interested. shipped from re they are 160. ill let them go for 150. if you want pics there is a thread in the forum titled RE SE they are in there.

I think tens are better SQ subs because they respond and recover quicker for more accurate sound..

actually i think its a myth that the smaler a cone is the faster the sub will respond

yep cone size doesn't matter as much as bl and motor design of the sub, but those re se subs would make perfect sq subs, but you need atleast 400watts per sub, so make sure you have a big enough amp and an electrical system to handle it.
