he doesnt know. i have 2 of those same subs and i love them. they get loud and maintain good sq. if on a budget i would take them over the type-r's anyday. imo

are you thinking about gettin one or two?

Ok i have a ?. Most people say the type r performs just like the cvr. So why is it that people say there is no way a cvr can hit 150 but a type r can. just wondering.

the type R can handle alot of power at one time. the people hitting 150 with it are putting 2000+watts to it for just a few seconds.

if both the type R and CVR had 500 watts to them it would be very close and pretty much a personal preference.

yup. basically the vr would get louder, and the r wouldnt get as loud but have a little better sq. so it really is a personal preference.

and hitting db's like 150 is pretty much possible for any sub. the enclosure is the most important part of making a sub sound good.

benwest:

if i were you, i would get a couple cvr's, dual 4 ohm subs, and then get one audiobahn a8002t and run the subs at 4 ohms, giving each sub 400 watts rms. the a8002t is probably one of the most cost efficient amps out their because it puts out the rated power.

so if you wanted a good setup, go with what i told you.
