cody why would you want to power your jl audio w7s with an overrated audiobahn amp. thats funny man. get yourself a real amp for those subs.

also RE doesn't suck nor does JL. they are both good companies.

Maybe they shouldn't have gotten rid of anon's, it was less annoying when the anons talked to themselves, now we have newbs registering 3 names to talk to themselves instead...

man, you're a noob cause you posted stuff like

"re suck jl are the best ever"

with no facts to back up why and,

"Im no "noob" i bet you dont have S*** in your trunk, if im a "noob" why do i have 2 jl W7's and a 2000 watt audiobahn amp?"

Putting a crap amp on some W7's!!!??? And which A-bahn amp is this. Why do you think JL is better than RE and what makes your W7 so good? Do you have pics of it? And if you're in San Diego and advertising your stuff like that than you're going to get it stolen.

And "come to san diego, i'll show ya, you'll hear me from 3 miles away!!" , that just shows you're a noob cause people who've been in this hobby for a while grow out of it and don't care if you can hear their bass miles away.

that depends on the sub. i've never heard the treos ported so i will find out. sealed they sound nice but everyone that uses treos suggests that i port them.

i had alpine Rs and Xs in sealed and ported and they both sounded better in sealed than ported.

when i had the re se xxx sub, that sounded much better in a ported box than sealed.

my point is some subs to me sounds better in sealed while other subs sounds better in ported.

chad how many different sub setups have you had in the last 6 months? Do you interchange a few setups or do you buy new and sell your old stuff?

JL w0's sound great with minimal watts and for the $$, get a pair of 12w0's used from a seller with a 100% positive (or 99.something) on ebay, then get a generic ~280 watt amp, and you will be pounding and sounding good, without totally drowning out your stock speakers, and staying pretty close to your budget.

what do a set of 12W0's run?---ive heard them and they sound pretty tight!

what are their watts---150-200?

I have a friend that HAD two RE MT 15" each on a 2500 watt (or something close) MTX amp and each amp had its own battery and sittin in that thing would make you hurt after a couple mins. he could pull up to gas stations and the potato chip bags inside would rattle. I'll try to get pics but he sold it so I dunno. RE's do NOT suck!
