Hifonics amps...are they good/ clear???

I heard Hifonics amps are really good for the money. Just blew my rockford fosgate x1000.1 so its time to get a new amp. What to get? I have tw0 12in eclipse aluminums. THanks

they aren't the best, just good budget amps, so don't expect anything over the top amazing.

buy hifonics 1205d, good budget amp, remember 75-80% real RMS power

sq should be fine... itl be hard do decipher from other amps, the main thing is how everything is tuned

I have a Hifonics BX1500d i bought used for $170 ande its pushing my orion H2(2000wattrms) very nicely. Its probably givin the sub about 1350 at 1ohm. Great amp so far zero complaints.

hifonics SQ should be nice for the budget, at that amount of power, the THD should be 1% or lower, and i've never heard of a hifonics getting hot, so it's a nice amp

i have a hifonics bx1205 and it works great. i would go with the hifonics 2000 watt. they are great amps that wont let you down.

All amps get hot.lol, hifonics amps get really hot compared to others though

of course chauncey, but i mean they don't tend to overheat so frequently as other amps for the price, cuz tell me, for that price must have something, but really if they're well connected and all those stuffs, they don't tend to overheat.

Hifonics get sizzling to the touch, heh.. burned myself on one recently. But they dont shut down due to thermal overload, no.

they dont get that hot though if you have like the zeus heat sink design like i do in my bx1205. it gets warm but not hot. it all depends on how you get it.
