How big of an amp do you think I should put on these two speakers? I just customed installed them into my deck of the car. They say 70wrms each, so im thinkin maybe a small 200 watt amp would be just fine set to high pass and bass boost off, gain all the way down. What do you all think.

well i have two alpine type s 5.25 speakers up front and they only take 35wrms so Im thinkin either that I coulld go 4ch but if the stock can give those 5.25 enough power then why not just the 2ch on the the 6x9's?

Hey when I tried connecting the rch of the amp to the right 6x9 the it doesnt come on and also when I connect the same rch to the other 6x9 that one wont come on either. Now both 6x9's work cause I tested them and it seems to me that it may be the rch wire, that I have leading to it, Because when I mess with the rca rch on the HU where it plugs into I can hear the 6x9 come in and out. Now does it seem that the wire may have a short or what? What should I do to get this thing going?
