I Bow Down to GlassWolf

Thanks for your previous advice, my system rocks! It appears you commit much time to assisting fellow audiophiles.

My question is about the Alpine 9833. Are there any websites that have downloadable data for the I-Personalize settings? You know, so I could just look up my exact vehicle and download some "prime" settings on a cd. The 9833 kicks A** since you can program it to match your dashboard illumination EXACTLY.

I haven't seen any iPersonalize sites aside from what Alpine offers, but that's a neat idea there.

I have a Sony CDX-M750 which worked fine for a long time. Now it does not read CD's at all anymore. I've reset the unit with a CD in and still does not work. The unit is up on my warranty. I called sony and the want $125 to fix it. This is outragious! Anyone know where i might be able to get it fixed for cheaper or a replacement CD reader. And yes i do know Sony sucks but it was an expensive HU and dont feel like buying a new one unless really necessary.Thank You.

take it to a radio repair shop
$125 is average for repair work on a car CD player though.
