if you tuned correctly it will nothing happen u only lose a little bit but not much of sq and u will get alot louder alot if the box is a well built-tuned box
I am not worried about getting any louder my trunk and rear deck already vibrate like crazy!! I like to listen to techno, trance, Rave, Ect.. And a little lil jon, Yin Yang twins, Young Jeezy But I want SQ and if ports would hinder that in any way I think I will stay sealed.
i used to own a pair of type Rs and i tried them both sealed and ported. to me sealed was much better. i like listening to trance music alot and when i ported the Rs it didn't sound good so i went sealed and they sounded great. they still get pretty loud sealed so keep it like that.
