Can I put a mute cable in my headunit if it has none?

I want to install the PARROT CK3100, but it requires my HEADUNIT to have both a mute cable and a line-in. My Pioneer DEH-3770 has none of them. Can I still use that PARROT car kit? (with it full features, "muting radio when a call is in progress", and "using car speakers".

I read that an ISO CABLE for my MAZDA 323 (2003) would help, but my car has a different radio (PIONEER), how can I fix those problems without buying another HEADUNIT?

gracias

I checked out the Parrot on Google, man, that thing is awesome! I'm definately picking one of those up! I'd have to see the wiring that came with the unit, but my guess is that they want a mute so it will shut your radio off (mute it) when you get a call. If you watch it, you can just shut your radio off, or turn it to an auxillary or something? I'll see if I can find a wiring diagram or schematics for the Parrot. Good find man!
