Ok all I can say is scrap them all. They all look like cd players to me.

Save up a bit more coin and get a surround sound stereo (home theatre in a box) they are around the same price and you get WAY better sound and power.
I got mine boxing day so it was $200 (Canadian) and it is 600 watts and it rocks pretty good.

and $300 (U.S) I take it would buy you an even better brand! In town they have a 1000 watt Pioneer home theatre in a box for $459 (on sale) and thats pretty darn good and would womp a desktop cd player.

Here are some I am looking at

Simple eh

Home theatre is simple...lol 5 or 6 speakers all around the room....hook up wires bizzzam your done. And if sure you could run RCA from your computer to the surround....I think you might need the right graphics card though, im not a computer genius so im not sure

I'm no computer wizard either, how hard/easy would it be to connect a surround sound sytem to a pc-laptop? Will I need some kind of different hardware? My PC is old and has the basics, my laptop is new but has the basics, then some I guess. I am looking at that Klipsch thsi one right

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=10304 78&sku=K134-1000

Another reason I want a stereo was because of easy mobility.

Hey Blaine, how does it connect to your PC? Through USB or what? So you say this product is good, hows the bass?

Remember I WANT IT TO THUMP, good amount of clean BASS.
