I have the kappa 6x9's 330w 2ohm 3 way 693.7i each in a standard sealed box with the high frequency bass blockers for the + terminal that say 100rms and block 0-200hz. They are pushed by a kicker sx600.2 amplifier. The bass blockers do block the bass, but are they bad for the kappas 6x9 speakers? I know the blockers are only 100rms but am not sure if they can go on 2ohm speakers. Anyways they do block the bass which I want and I have to have the speakers in sealed boxes because I have no where else to put them. So should I not use the bass blocker? Are they bad for the speakers? If they are bad then how do I stop the bass (amp settings do not block all the bass, head unit doesn't either)? I also have mtx tweeters that car pushed by the amp too and have there own crossovers. I was told that the crossovers do not block all the bass and I should put a pair of the bass blockers on the tweeters too, but am not sure if I believe that. Thanks Brad
