Up until yesterday, my amplifier wouold turn off/on while I was driving, going in/out of protection mode. Now, it is in protection mode permanently. Im pretty sure it is grounded properly, anything else that could b the problem?

Thanks

Yes, I checked the fuses on my amp and tey are all fine, and I have a circuit breaker in the front, which I have tried reseting a couple times.

Anything else?

I have checked the grounds several times, and yes the amp is stable, I have it hooked up at 2 Ohms, and my gain is set a little less than half ways. Might I mention that my amp was functioning properly for months and it just suddenly started having problems without me changing anything.

Also , what kind of subs do you have ???

Have you checked the power wire to see if any of the plastic insulation might have become bare over time do to constant rubbing against a metal surface an now the wire is touching metal

I have a 'A2X400HQ' Audiobahn amp, and 2 'AW1200Q' Audiobahn subs.

I have checked the power wire, but not in detail, I should probably do that.
